For our 8th giveaway, I thought hey, why not give away 8 pairs of shoes? When the homie Lee from Solovair hit me up a few months ago, the stars aligned and we got to cooking up this next giveaway. If you’re not familiar with Solovair, you’ll get to be pretty soon, and hopefully you’ll end up with a pair yourself. Below you’ll find:

I’m beyond stoked to be able to give away so many pairs of shoes, so let’s not waste any more time, and get into the rules!
What is Solovair?
Solovair is a British footwear manufacturer with deep roots in Northamptonshire, England, a region historically renowned for its shoemaking tradition. They’re produced by NPS shoes (Northamptonshire Productive Society), one of the first footwear worker co-ops ever founded (although they were bought out by a local businessman and no longer operate as a co-op). And if you think they sort of look like Doc Martens, well, there’s a reason for that. Doc Martens were first produced by NPS when Dr. Klaus Maertens and Herbert Funck originally came up with their air cushion sole in the mid 20th century.
When Doc Martens eventually shifted production overseas, NPS continued producing their high-quality, goodyear welted footwear in England under the Solovair (sole-of-air, get it?). To this day, Solovair offers some of the best craftsmanship and quality on the market, along with some pretty damn good looking shoes!
The Rules
Alright, enough yapping, let’s get down to brass tacks and talk about how this’ll go down.

Paid subscribers will automatically receive 20 entries.
The winner will be announced via a random draw on Substack live at 6:00PM EST on Thursday, March 20th.
The winner will receive an e-mail from my email address notifying them that they have won. Please be wary of scammers who may try to impersonate me.
To comply with Canadian giveaway regulations, the winner will be required to answer a simple skill-testing question.
The winner will have 24hrs to respond, otherwise a new winner will be drawn.

The Prize
Finally, let’s discuss the best part. We’ll be drawing EIGHT winners for this giveaway, and each winner will be able to pick out whatever pair of Solovairs in whatever size and colour they desire. These are some serious shit kickers folks, hand made in England, good year welted, comfy, durable, and sure to last a long, long time. Personally I really dig those brogue numbers, they even have a few steel toe options which are pretty bad ass. Steel-toes mean business. I can’t wait to see what y’all pick out!
