Spring Knitwear
20 new and 50+ second hand knit sweaters for spring.
Regardless of what Punxsutawney Phil has to say, Spring will be here in no time at all (sense the wishful thinking?), and with that comes one of my favourite garment classifications - light, springy knits. Unlike the thick, cozy, burly wools, cashmeres, and mohairs of prior months, Spring opens the door to thin, lightweight, open-knit sweaters that go great with nothing else under or over (if you so choose). I’m talking cottons, linens, silks, hemps, stuff that’ll flow and sit comfortably on bare skin, taking you all the way into Summer. Don’t knock it ‘till you try it, some people underestimate just how light and airy a Spring sweater can feel, I personally own some that wear cooler than a cotton t-shirt.
In this article I’m going to run through 20 New Spring Sweaters and 50+ Second Hand Listings, along with a little guide on how to find second hand listings yourself.
If you’d like to go further in-depth on second hand shopping online, be sure to check out these two articles as well.

2nd Hand Spring Sweaters
Now, quality knitwear is a prohibitively expensive garment due to its complexity and the cost of natural yarns. Therefore, your best bet for a good bargain is going to be on the 2nd hand market. Obviously you can use terms like cotton, linen, and silk, but I’ve also had luck searching for the following brands and sometimes using the materials filter on eBay.
